A few months ago the founder of the cycling team I ride for, Team Cystic Fibrosis, started talking about doing another Boggle Hole ride! I thought Boggle Hole? Whats that? Asked a few questions and I thought no way I am doing that! But here I am signing up for it, I can never resist a challenge.

Boggle Hole is a ride that starts in Barnsley and ends up in Boggle Hole near Whitby, over 100 miles away. What makes it so difficult for me is that the pace of the ride will be pretty extreme, there are a number of ex-pro riders who go 'hell for leather' and aim to 'smash' every other rider. What also adds to the challenge for me is that I have only been riding for 18 months!

The other big challenge for me is having to do the return leg the very next day, I have done 3 100 mile plus rides since I started riding bit I always have a few days off after such a big ride, its unknown territory for men and something that will take some serious training.

it would be great if you could donate a few pennies or maybe a few pounds to give me that bit more incentive that the pain will contribute to helping others out.
