We fund healthcare and educational projects to to help improve opportunities and lives
Story
On 10th August 2010 I am going to take on the challenge of a lifetime and scale to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in . The climb is all in aid of the charity - Mad4Africa http://www.mad4africa.com/index.shtml
MAD4Africa is a small group of volunteers that works independently to raise funds and choose projects that are sustainable, in order to build better standards of living across . The money raised from this climb will go towards renovating and equipping Kiyonza Professional Training Centre. This will enable the people of Ngoma sector to learn employable skills and help build a better future. The work on the project has already started and with your help we can continue to equip and staff the centre http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdkFUfR7vJg
At 5,896 metres (or nearly 20,000 feet) Kilimanjaro or the “Roof of Africa” is the highest mountain in the continent and the tallest free standing mountain in the world. Myself and my good mate Matt Totterdell will take the 6 day 84km Machame route up the mountain. This will see us trekking through rain forests, barren scrublands and then finally ice fields, enduring temperatures of -15C!!
Please donate all you can for this worthy cause.
Cheers,
Dan
