Story
Hi All,
I have somehow roped 5 of my friends into running the London Marathon next year in support of the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA). Obviously I can't run it myself so I have decided to follow their good example and put my life on the line for the fantastic and inspiring charity that I work for.
SIA is the leading national charity for spinal cord injued people. They offer invaluable support and assistance from the moment of injury and for the rest of the paralysed person's life.
The challenge is that I will be diving with 10ft Long Sand Tiger Sharks at the Blue Planet Aqaurium on Thursday 17th September. I will be swimming in the tank with the sharks and apparently the sharks will be swimming inches above my head. A shark can smell blood from a quarter of a mile away, and if I reach my target I will purposely cut myself shaving before going in the drink - now there's an incentive for you.
Donating through JustGiving is simple fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So if you are inspired by what I am doing and want to raise money for a great charity please sponsor me today! I will be paying for all of the shark dive myself so any money you donate will go straight to SIA.
Thank you very much,
Dan
