Due to the cancellation of the Great North Swim I doubled the swimming challenge to 2-miles of crawl in my local pool (161 lengths in 01:04:12)! So in Aug/Sept 2010 I have done this, plus: my 1st Full Marathon, 3 Half Marathons (inc. PB of 01:36:56, the hardest yet Great Langdale on 25th Sept) and 3 10K Runs (inc. PB of 40:49).   

 

When You Wish Upon A Star makes dreams come true for children with terminal and incurable illnesses, such as the Lapland trip that will go from Humberside Airport in December 2010 and take a plane load of very special and deserving children for a magical day in Santa's homeland.
