Story

Pupils from Ysgol Y Deri are going to be  attempting to walk the length and/or accent of the national three peaks challenge. A challenge that sees people walking to the top of Britains three biggest mountains: Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scaffels Pike (Lake District) and our very own Snowdon (Wales) in 24 hours. We won't be expecting pupils to complete the challenge in 24 hours or in fact visit any of the mountains.

They will attempt to do this over 3 months  They will be attempting the 37km distance and 3064m accent virtually. They can do this as individuals or as part of a team.

They can do the walks in their local areas, use the stairs, treadmills or any other way they see fit to complete the challenge. They will be logging their distance so we can follow their progress.

This challenge is all a part of the process to help them completing their Duke of Edinburgh awards and will fulfil their volunteering and physical sections.

We wish them all the luck in the world and remind them...don't look down!!!
