The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.

Story

It turns out 86 miles through the pouring rain in London and Surrey was just a warm up!

Starting bright and early on the morning of Wednesday 24th September, along with 50 colleagues, I will be cycling from Canary Wharf to Amsterdam over four days.  The total distance is 320 miles.

Day 1:  London – Dover  (86 miles)

Day 2:  Calais – Bruges  (68 Miles)

Day 3:  Bruges – Brielle (91 Miles)

Day 4:  Brielle – Amsterdam (69 Miles)

We are raising money for Guide Dogs for the Blind. They provide a unique combination of practical and emotional support to transform the lives of people who are blind or partially sighted offering them independence, inclusion and freedom. Please help me to reach the total by donating what ever you can.

Please note that I am paying all the costs of the trip myself -- your money will go straight to Guide Dogs and will not subsidise the trip in any way.
