Story

Hi all,

Some of you may be aware that I'm swapping my stilettos for trainers for the Great North Run this year to raise money for improvements to ward 24 at James Cook Memorial Hospital.

I'm sure that alot of you knew of/were friends with Gibbo (Andrew Gibson) who sadly passed away in Feb last year, after suffering head injuries in a car accident whilst he was working in Dubai.

Gibbo was flown back home, where the team at James Cook Memorial Hospital in Middlesbrough worked tirelessy to treat him.

I've been in touch with Andrews family and am trying to raise as much money as possible to go towards improvements to the ward where Gibbo was treated so they can help care for more people like Gibbo.

Those of you that know me well will know that my love of gin and hatred of exercise mean that this is really hard for me... but I'm doing it for an amazing cause so would really appreciate it if you could help by contributing even just a small amount.

If you'd like to sponsor me then you can just click on the link! I'd really appreciate anything you can give.

Thanks very much xxx
