I am fortunate (or mad) to be able to take part in the Hiscox Tourmalet challenge - stage 8 of the Tour De France, the day before the pro's do. I will be putting myself through physical and mental hell by cycling nearly 100 miles in one day, passing over 4 mountains in the Pyrenees, climbing 15,000ft and hopefully completing this in under 10 hours. I am by no means a cyclist and have had to rely on borrowing a bike to get me through this challenge.

I have chosen to raise money for The Lymphoma Association, a charity dedicated to helping those affected by lymphoma after my Grandmother has recently been diagnosed with this type of cancer. The charity provides help and support to those directly affected with lymphoma as well as their families.
