My story
Hello and thanks for visiting my sponsorship page!
On 14 to 17 June 2012, I will be taking part in the Football League Arch to Arc bike ride raising money for Help the Hospices. This challenging three-day bike ride starts at Wembley Stadium and finishes at the Arc de Triomphe, Paris. We will be cycling a gruelling 245 miles over 3 three days through England and France come rain or shine so we will be earning every penny of sponsorship we manage to raise!
I will be taking on this challenge with my girlfriend Leanne and her brother Greg. We have a £1,300 target each that we need to meet in order to participate. You can also sponsor them by visiting justgiving.com/douglasleanne and justgiving.com/douglasgreg.

Well....I did it everyone!! I actually cycled from London to Paris. When we signed up, however, by the time we finished, we'd clocked up 270miles. The route was extremely hilly which lasted at times, for miles &was pouring down with rain.
DJ, Karaoke, QUIZ and raffle. Lots of fantastic raffle prizes to be won. You can get raffle tickets from me, even if you can't make it to the night.

Help the Hospices is the leading charity supporting hospice care throughout the UK. We want the very best care for everyone facing the end of life. The majority of hospice care in the UK is provided by our member hospices. Care is given free of charge to the patient and their friends and family. It can be at home, in the hospice and in the community and can be for days, months or years.
