Story

Leah and I are happy to confirm that the Daisy Chain Abseil has been rescheduled for 27th March.  Unfortunately it is no longer taking place at the Transporter Bridge; we will now be abseiling from the Sunderland Glass Centre.  I am sure this will still be sufficiently terrifying and we will provide plenty of photographic evidence!  Thank you again for your support

WEATHER WARNING!!!

Unfortunately, due to the severe weather the Daisy Chain Santa Abseil scheduled for Sunday 5th December has been cancelled.  Leah and I have been told that the event will be rescheduled in the New Year, but a specific date has not been provided.

We are still keen to take part in the abseil and plan to attend the rescheduled event, therefore you have the option of carrying your donation over to the new date, or alternatively we can return the money you have already pledged.  In the event that the abseil is not rescheduled in due course Leah and I will think of something suitably embarrassing to partake in to justify your generous donations to Daisy Chain (suggestions welcome!)

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I am raising money in aid of Daisy Chain, a local charity supporting families affected by autism.

On Sunday 5th December I will be abseiling off the Middlesbrough Transporter Bridge...in a Santa suit!  (My non-UK supporters will not appreciate what this means so I recommend you google the Middlesbrough Transporter for more about its history...and size).

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now.
