Story

Why half a marathon?

... having completed the 3 Peaks Challenge and a 10k fundraising run round Canary Wharf we found ourselves sitting in the office contemplating the next big challenge... Take a hike up the Andes to Machu Pichu was the first option but then the thought of a week-long hike and no toilets was not that appealing. Second option was the London Marathon which was more feasible but still a bit daunting - why start training in the summer for an event you can enter just by ballot and therefore wont know if you are in till half way through your training???? Thinking caps on we decided we'd go for half a marathon and should we survive venture of to NYC in 2010 (running 23miles will be hard enough without the London rain)

Why Cancer Research?

because we all know of people who have been hit by the disease and there's never enough funds in research

P.S. Jury's still out on whether the wonderwoman outfit will make an appearance
