We fund medical research to help more children beat cancer

Story

My first boy, Rupert was born on the same day as Joseph Fawcett. Joseph was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive brain tumour when he was only 8 months old. Knowing how difficult it can be to raise kids even when things are all going well, Joseph has had to endure loads of chemotherapy and scans and time in hospital. Despite this Joseph and his parents Amy and Alex have always remained positive and Joseph, with help from the team in Newcastle remains fit and well 3 years later.  Just knowing the incredible experience work done by this charity first hand is why I have chosen to run for them this year.
