On 23rd June I am embarking on an unsupported cycle ride from London to Paris with the aim to complete it in 5 days which, considering my dubious levels of fitness, is going to be pretty challenging.

I am completing the ride for Headway Portsmouth and South East Hampshire. They are a local branch of a charity who, since 1986 have provided support to people with head injury and other forms of acquired brain injury, their family members, carers, and interested professionals.

Since the change in Government spending they have seen their funding fall. Although I have set my target at £500 I really would like to raise more. Please note that my employer will match any donations up to £250 (please note this is still pending their approval) providing a great opportunity to really make a difference.
