To raise money for Crisis, I'll be walking 100km of the Grand Union Canal in 24 hours next month. Now I know walking is easy, but 100km is pretty damn far, and 24 hours is a pretty long time. That's almost 33 episodes of the Antiques Roadshow, back-to-back, without falling asleep.
Crisis are a great charity: they are dedicated to ending homelessness by delivering life-changing services. Their award winning centres provide accredited education, training and employment advice. They specialise in practical and creative workshops that support the homeless with the formal learning opportunities that lead to qualifications and finding work.
Thank you in advance for any donations you can make! It will help me get to the end, awake, knowing that my soon-to-be battered body and bleeding feet will have helped them continue their good work.
