Story
17 members of the Denbigh Harriers Running Club are planning to run, walk or crawl the 176 miles of the Offa’s Dyke trail over five days this June in aid of the British Red Cross.
The trail goes from Chepstow in South Wales to Prestatyn in North Wales and involves 28,000ft of ascent - almost as much as Mount Everest.
We're hoping to raise £10,000 for the British Red Cross who do a fantastic job providing emergency support internationally, nationally and locally including at large scale public and sporting events.
In North Wales, The British Red Cross have saved lives by providing first aid at the scene. However, their defibrillators need replacing and so the money we are looking to raise will be used to buy eight new defibrillators.
We'll keep you updated on our progress and thank you for your support!
