Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Did it!

Climbed the Yorkshire Three Peaks - Pen-y-Gent, Whernside and Ingleborough - on Saturday 4th September in 8 hours, 41 mins.   Well inside my personal target of 10 hours.  Weather helped - dry, not too hot, good visibility.  And even the boggy bit was not too wet!

This circular walk is 25 miles long with 5,500 feet of ascent.  The challenge is to complete it in 12 hours.

I'm doing this to raise money for NRAS - the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society.  NRAS provides support for sufferers of Rheumatoid Arthritis and campaigns for the best treatments and care.  It costs NRAS about £50,000 just to operate the helpline service each year.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
