Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now

On 18th April 2010 it will be 10 years to the day since i had surgery to remove renal (kidney) cancer. To celebrate my 1st decade cancer-free and to give something back to the hospital that made my recovery possible, i will be doing a sponsored walk of Hadrian's Wall in aid of the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.

The walk will start in Bowness-on-solway on 18/4/10 and will end 84 miles later in Wallsend. I intend to complete the walk in 5 days, camping out at night or using bunk-barns where available.

I have funded all equipment and arrangements myself, so any donations made will go directly to the foundation.

Many thanks for your support

David (Dave, Hairy or whatever you know me as)
