Salisbury District Hospital Stars - Tidworth 10k 3k Fun Run 2009 · 1 November 2009 ·

Children on the Edge works hand-in-hand with communities to support over 15,000 of the world’s most marginalised children across Africa, Asia and Europe. For over 35 years we have co-created award-winning programmes that educate and protect children living in the most challenging environments.

Story

So you have decided to click on the dreaded charity link to see exactly what Dave is up to.  Normally at this point I personally would be checking to see what other people have donated. Scurrying to see if he or she has failed and then start laughing if the percentage was 0%. Well if you are then you should be ashamed of yourself! Please note that I wouldn’t laugh out loud because that would be mad and extremely evil plus it’s not the way I roll. I would only laugh with the internal evil head laugh and the imaginary white cat on my lap. I’m not raising money for the cat protection society!

I’m raising money for ‘Children on the Edge’ by completing a 10k run in Tidworth on the 1st November 2009 (Yeah, it’s coming up very soon!). I just need you to spare what you can, so £10 or more will be great. The Tidworth 10k has been organised by the Army so I believe the ‘friendly fire crew’ will have Taser Guns on every 2k’s that I complete. I did think that I was only signing up for the 10k but apparently I’m off to Afghanistan after this ordeal. Note to self; always read the bloody small print.

Any way, I could and really would appreciate your donation!
