St Ann's Hospice, located in South Manchester, was founded nearly forty years ago and is a recognised centre of excellence for specialist palliative care for those people who have progressive and life-threatening illnesses - as well as supporting their carers and families.

 

The Hospice cared for my Mum in November 2008 and has previously cared for 2 grandparents.

 

Two-thirds of their funding comes from donations and they need to raise at least £16,000 every day to provide free care for patients.
