David passed away peacefully Sunday 28th March at Farleigh Hospice, Chelmsford. The fantastic care from all the team including the nurses and consultants who visited David on Ward B10 in Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, as well as at Farleigh meant that our last few days together were as good as possible. Farleigh felt on occasion like a ski lodge, and with the warm and attentive care it was a good alternative to home.

David was an amazing man.  He was  fun loving, caring, mischievous, positive, honest, and the most wonderful person a wife, son, daughter, grandchild or friend could wish for. He touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He loved the outdoors, motor racing, sailing, skiing, walking and cycling and loved to travel. In the last few years he spent time in Guatemala, Thailand, China, Peru and the various mountains of Europe. 

He will be greatly missed by all and we wish for others to be able to benefit from the care given at Farleigh Hospice at such a difficult time.
