Right.... here's the challenge and the numbers involved....

244.... the number miles from London to Paris on a bike*

1....  incredibly unfit David Michael Godfrey, who has exercised properly once in the last five year's since university (A 10km run for the Stroke Association last year..... a huge thank you to all who generously donated... )

6... the number of other work colleagues who will be ensuring I don't wimp out of this challenge and actually complete the journey in full alongside them....

£1300... the amount I personally have to raise in under week.... which by the way will be doubled by my very generous bosses at Allen Lane if I do so....

 

I only do one charitable request per year, and it's for the same cause as last year, The Stroke Association. We all know someone whose life has been affected by a stroke and The Stroke Association are the only UK wide charity solely concerned with combating strokes in people of all ages.
