I have been a long term supporter of Oxfam who I know do amazing work to help lift people out of poverty.  When a colleague mentioned the Trailwalker event it seemed too good an opportunity to miss - I love running and walking anyway and this event enables me to raise money for Oxfam as well as the Gurkha Welfare Trust.  I truly believe that eradicating poverty is central to addressing many of the problems in the world today and I would be delighted if you could spare a few of your hard earned pounds to sponsor me and help lift people out of poverty.
