At times of overseas emergency, the DEC brings together a unique alliance of the UK's aid, corporate, public and broadcasting sectors to rally the nation's compassion, and ensure that funds raised go to DEC agencies best placed to deliver effective and timely relief to people most in need.

Story

 

David Noton is one of the wold's best known travel and landscape photographers. His many high profile clients includes 'The National Trust'. Author, he is the author of two photographic books 'Waiting for the Light' and 'Full Frame'. David is a regular contributor to a number of photography publications, including 'Digital Photo Pro' and 'Outdoor Photography'. 

David is donating a beautiful 24" x 36" print for the appeal shot on the island of Siquijor, in the Visayas, Philippines. David said, "I feel as if the lad on the boat in the shot is contemplating his future... Siquijor was in the path of the cyclone"
