My grandson Oliver, who just turned 7 years old was born with CP, something I knew nothing about then, but now I know a lot more! It is a disability that has impacted on him and our family in so many ways, both negative and positive. Oliver is an energetic, loveable and charismatic young man and his greatest wish is to be able to run faster than someone!!! 

How can I not raise funds for a charity, "The National Bobath Cerebral Palsy Centre", that helps others like Oliver lead the best life they can, that makes living with CP a little more bearable.

I have always run to keep fit and have completed about 5 half marathons. I never thought I would ever be able to run a marathon, but that is the goal I have set myself for my 60th Birthday! It will take me over 1000km's of training between now and April next year...when you get older, things become a little more difficult!

I would really appreciate any support that you can give to this amazing charity. Anyone who knows me, knows that I'm always supportive of other's causes and now it's my turn :)
