Story
As some of you may know, I have decided to run the London Marathon this April for the Cambridge University Veterinary School Trust. I have a target of £1000 to raise so that the vet school can pay for a number of important facilities that have been installed, including Europe's first cancer therapy unit for animals.
Running the marathon has always been something that I have wanted to achieve, and me being me, I want to do it in as fast a time as possible! The current world record in the men's marathon event is held by the Ethiopian, Haile Gebrselassie at 2:03:59, which was set in Berlin in 2008. I reckon this is definitely doable - all I need to do is run about twice as fast as I am at the moment over double the distance - easy!!
I would be really appreciate any donations made to this cause, no matter how big or small, as well as any course side support on the day if anyone will be in London! Running 26.2 miles will not be easy without an oyster card, so any encouragement will be much appreciated!
Hopefully I'll see/hear some of you in London on Sunday 25th April 2010 then! For more information on the Vet School Trust see below:

Many thanks in advance for the donations and support to this great cause.
