Story

Here's why I've agreed to represent Sarcoma UK once again in the London Marathon. In September 2013, my mum, Sandie, went for surgery to remove a large uterine mass, which turned out to be sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. Surgery went well and she left the hospital cancer-free. Sadly, the sarcoma came back with a vengeance and she died just 6 weeks after diagnosis. Sarcomas are notorious for being aggressive, unpredictable and offer a poor prognosis, even with treatment. Sarcoma UK are dedicated to funding vital research projects and providing support to patients and their families.

Sarcoma is a cancer of the bone and soft tissue. It is one of the hardest to diagnose, and difficult to treat. We can help change this. By donating to my page, you will fund vital research projects looking for better treatments. Your donation will also raise awareness of the symptoms of sarcoma to help patients get an early diagnosis, and ensure everyone has access to specialist advice.Thank you for your support.
