At the end of October II will be taking part in a 100km sponsored hike through Masai Land to raise funds for our school's Kenya Project, supporting school children and communities in one of the poorest parts of Africa.  Our school, Mossley Hollins is now twinned with two secondary schools in Kenya:  Nyamasere Girls School and Waondo Boys School in the Mbita district.  This is a very poorly developed and under-privileged part of Kenya in terms of both health and education. The water is not safe to drink and the people of this area are vulnerable to diseases such as typhoid, cholera and malaria.  All money raised will go directly to projects such as refurbishing school toilets, and building a girls' dormitory, without which many girls would have no chance of a secondary education.  By supporting me in this venture, we really can make a difference to their lives!  Please give generously!
