Wanting to run the London Marathon has been a personal ambition for each of us, this year we are delighted to have secured our first go at completing the London Marathon combined with raising money for a charity so close to our hearts, the White Lodge Centre, Chertsey. On 25th April 2010 all our hard all weather winter training complete with shin splints, runners knee(s) and groin strain (you better believe it!), will become a reality .............. Why did we choose The White Lodge Centre, Chertsey? The three of us all know, or have special children that attend the centre and know what a lifeline the centre becomes for children, parents and adults in a variety of ways. Ranging from their specialist children centre offering daily therapy services and nursery education to young children with cerebral palsy or similar disabilities. To Adult Community Support Services, supporting physically disabled adults in developing interests and achieving individual goals by offering therapy services, creative arts, IT, leisure and life skills and of course family support. The White Lodge Centre has been providing essential services to the local community for over forty five years.  Please join us on the 25th April, by giving to this charity and fuelling our determination to get round the 26. 2 miles.
