Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Through a Christmas gift from my husband I have been given the chance to complete a tandem skydive (he says he is not trying to see me off!!!) This is something I have wanted to do for many years and it is booked for the 30th June 2010.
Following the tragic death of our neighbour's daughter, Olivia Wood, last year in a road traffic accident her parents set up a Snowflake Tribute Fund to raise some much needed funds for Hope House Children's Hospice. They have raised more than £27,500 at present of a £30,000 target and I wanted to make my parachute jump in support of this worthy cause. Olivia was a cheerful, happy little girl and always had a wave for us over the garden fence as she jumped on her trampoline with her older sister.
Hope House Children’s Hospices – Hope House in Oswestry and Ty Gobaith in Conwy – provide practical and emotional support to families facing the pain of losing their precious child. It costs £3.5 million a year to run both hospices which rely almost entirely upon donations as well as many generous individuals.
