Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

A team from the Corporate Banking Division of The Royal Bank of Scotland Plc, are taking part in the BUPA Great Manchester Run on Sunday 16th May.

We are taking this opportunity to raise money for Barking, Havering & Redbridge Hospitals Charity. The money we raise will go directly to the Haematology Department to purchase more equipment, especially I.V. pumps to treat more patients and a high spec music system to improve the environment in and around the waiting room and day rooms. This will make the patients’ waiting time for their treatment a little less traumatic. Our target is to raise a minimum of £6,000 which allows the charity to buy six pumps and the music system.

Please dig deep and help us support this worthy charity.

About the charity

Our hospitals serve 900,000 local people. Whilst the NHS provides funding for the necessities, King George & Queen’s Hospitals Charity funds projects which enhance the hospital experience for patients, visitors and staff at both Queen’s Hospital, Romford and King George Hospital, Ilford.
