10,000 feet freefall tandem skydive
Fundraising for Whizz Kidz
Story
On the 11 July 2010, I shall be completing a 10,000 feet freefall tandem skydive. Free falling out of a plane into the clouds, diving down through the air at over 120mph!
Technically the jump is called a 'Tandem Skydive'. It is a Skydive because I will be freefalling through the air (without the parachute deployed) for several thousand feet; it is in Tandem because I will be harnessed to a professional parachute instructor at all times throughout the descent. This is literally the chance of a lifetime!
I wanted to use this opportunity to raise money for an Whizz-kidz a charity that is all about giving disabled children and young people the independence to enjoy an active childhood – at home, at school and at play.
