Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

July 30th was my last day on duty in the fire service actual finish date 2nd August, people keep asking me what i am going to do when i retire. So i thought i would let you know of some of the things i will be getting up to.

At the tender age of 51 years, on 22nd Aug 2010 I cycled 56.66 miles from Glasgow city centre to Edinburgh city centre in 4 hours 53 minutes, then on Sept 5th I ran the 13 miles Glasgow half marathon (still hadn`t ran ran more than 6 miles in my life up to that point) in 1 hour and 51 minutes and to top it off, at 5.00 am gmt on 3rd Feb all 23 personnel including myself  trekking for the firefighters charity summited the 19340 feet of Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa, all these events are to raise funds for The Fire Fighters Charity.

So any donations whether large or small would be gratefully appreciated by both myself and the charity.

After that not sure i will be able to do anything else.

So all the best for the future and thanks.
