Story
I'm Des Tinney from Whitburn, Bathgate and now Falkirk.
I am taking part in a 60 odd mile segment of a charity cycle from the London to Glasgow to Belfast, the event will take place between 4th and 8th December 2014.
I'm taking part in the Edinburgh to Glasgow leg of the journey, and will be dropping off some presents to some little kids at local hospitals.
I'm doing this in memory of Oscar Knox who gained his Angel's wings on Thursday 8th May 2014. We made a difference when over 40 of us cycled to Belfast from Glasgow, (in the snow, what is it with cycling in the winter months!!!!). I want to make another difference to the kids we are visiting on the way as well rasing some cash for NCCA.
I doing this as I want the Government to start funding treatment for children here in Scotland and the UK, so that families, communities and the NCCA dont need to raise around £500,000 per child for treatment in Germany or the USA.
So donate here or on the cycling team page and help the NCCA.
Thanks
Des Tinney.
