We all may think that we arent lucky enough to have the fastest car, the top designer handbag, or the biggest TV, but their are loads of people around the world who would welcome even the simplest of education so they can afford to put food on the table for their families.

In November 2010, i will be going on the Ecuador Challenge 2010 in aid of Get connected, which will see us head for Ecuador in South America to help with vital building work on a school in a rural community providing the children with a chance to an education to help them build their futures.

Together we can help other children in the world who are not as fortunate as us to to get help so they can support themselves and their family.

On top of the rebuild of the school, you will also be contributing to Get Connected, charity based in the UK that provides a free telephone, email and webchat helpline service finding young people the best help whatever the problem. Get Connected's vision is that every young person in the UK can find the help they need to support their emotional and physical wellbeing. There are 11 million young people in the UK. Get Connected is the vital gateway between a distressing confusing problem the young person can't solve on their own and the service that can help them solve it.
