Story
I know it's hard to believe but I'll be 60 on September 19th.
I don't want any presents (unless you're a very close relative!) but I'd be very pleased if you'd like to make a donation to Sheffield Samaritans.
Samaritans do a great job - they will support anyone through an emotional crisis - suffering distress, despairing or feeling suicidal. If you've ever felt (or can imagine feeling) anything close to that then it's reassuring to know they are there 24 hours a day to listen to you or to answer your email.
Individual branches such as Sheffield are expected to raise the funds needed to rent/buy/maintain their local centre, pay their own bills, train volunteers and so on.
Do consider giving something - as little as you like or as much as you can afford.
Thanks
Doug
