Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A team of around 30 people comprising of members from Serco, Airbus, GKN Aerospace and Environ, located at Filton and Broughton will attempt to complete the 3 Peaks challenge on 22 May 10.  This is a physically and mentally demanding challenge and will require participants to walk, climb or even crawl to the summit of three mountains:

Ben Nevis - Scotland

Scafell Pike - England

Snowdon - Wales

The fitter members of the team will endevour to complete the challenge in 24 hrs or less, the less fitter will just attempt to complete the challenge, however long it takes.  So, why would anyone want to push themselves to the limit?  To raise money for the rainbow Centre, a Bristol charity assisting children and families with life threatening deseases. 

So when we just want to stay at home, close the curtains, curl upon the sofa and go training tommorow, we will remember those families who are forced to push themselves to their limits for much more than a 24 hr period. This is why we have chosen to give up our time and push ourselves to the limit for just 24 hours.
