I am honoured to be running  the London Marathon on behalf of the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity, who do simply fantastic work, both practically and emotionally, to support families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.

I will also be completing a series of events this summer on their behalf after the London Marathon, including the London Olympic Triathlon and assuming the old bones hold together the Vitruvian involving a 2k swim , followed by an 85k bike, finished with a 21k run. 

While I don't mind enduring a small amount of physical pain for a few hours, these children will endure a short life filled with it on a daily basis. 

Therefore, I ask that you make a contribution to a fantastic charity.
