Hi there!
Thank you for stopping by....as you know, I will be taking part in the Adidas Women's Challenge which is a 5k fun run taking place on 05 September 2010 in .
I will be raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support and I'd really appreciate your support … Like me, I'm sure there has been or is someone in your life - be it a friend, family, in-law or outlaw :) - that has been affected by cancer.
Why Macmillan you might ask? If you've never heard about Macmillan, they provide a range of services to people who have been diagnosed with cancer, helping them with all things pertaining to their wants and needs in connection with the illness. However, they go even further than just people living with cancer....helping carers, families and communities as well. More recently my dear friend was diagnosed with cancer and they have provided her with tremendous support. Some of the other things they provide are emotional support, a listening ear, advice, and more importantly financial help.Please dig deep and support me in this challenge and in raising money for a very worthwhile cause....I can't promise that I will run all the way but I do promise to break into a sprint every so often.
