We Did It!! (And we didn't come last)

Once again, a team of intrepid volunteers from the Emergency Planning College (Easingwold) took part in the Dragon Boat Race on Sunday, 23rd May to raise funds for Martin House Children's Hospice in Boston Spa, Wetherby.

It's was a fantastic family fun day out. The weather was glorious as was the racing. This year the Team finished 35th (out of 44) which was a spectacular achievement - all things considered. No mishaps this year - not a capsize nor man overboard, only a few bruises and a bit of a soaking.
