Ex Serviceman Eddie Craven is walking 4,000 miles solo around the coast of Britain to raise money for fellow ex Service personnel who are having trouble coping after experiencing mental or physical trauma. His life was changed by attending The Warrior Programme.

On 4th November actor and adventurer Charley Boorman joined Eddie at Hunstanton. Here are some links if you would like to watch some of the coverage

A year ago Eddie was living rough in the woods just outside the city of Exeter. He found himself here as a result of suffering from post traumatic stress (PTSD) following active service in Bosnia.

The Royal British Legion eventually offered him help in the form of a 3 day intensive course run by a charity called The Warrior Programme. This course helped to change his life and as a result he is now committed to helping others suffering from similar traumas.

His dream is to raise funds to set up a permanent centre where ex-servicemen and women can find sanctuary and receive treatment for their condition.

With only a rucksack, a tent and a couple of mess tins Eddie embarked on his 4,000 mile trip. He was inspired by an image from the Falklands War and so flies a Union Jack from his backpack.

The BBC has broadcast a series of short films about Eddie - you can view these at http://news.bbc.co.uk/local/devon/hi/people_and_places/newsid_8400000/8400402.stm.

You can read Eddie's journal at http://www.warriorprogramme.org.uk/Eddies_Journey

So please dig deep and donate now to help Eddie's dream become a reality.

Thank you.
