We Fund quality counselling sessions to People at risk of suicide in Scotland

Story

Many of us are still training during lockdown, but with no competitions/races to train for we wanted to put our training towards a good cause. So starting on 06/07/20, 15 of us are aiming to run/sprint/cycle/walk 6507km in 30 days for The Joshua Nolan Foundation.

The Joshua Nolan Foundation are an Edinburgh based charity that offers 1-1 support for those at risk of, or affected by suicide in Edinburgh and the surrounding area. They provide financial support towards professional counselling, promote awareness of mental health and well-being, and partner with trained practitioners to deliver classroom based sessions. If you would like to find out more about the charity please follow the link here:

We chose the figure 6507 as this was the number of suicides committed in the UK in 2018, a figure we, and The Joshua Nolan Foundation would like to see reduced.
