We care for companion animals and wildlife to promote animal welfare in our community

Story

Eleanor has had long hair ever since she was tiny, her crowning glory if you will, all that time!  However, today she decided to have the Big Chop for 2 wonderfully generous reasons...

1) to send a pony tail to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that provides real hair wigs to children and young people with hair loss, and funding vital research into childhood cancer.

2) to raise cash for Oak and Furrows, our local wildlife centre that operates a 24 hour Wildlife Rescue Service, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. The centre relies on donations to survive and does not receive any government funding.  The Centre’s aim is to provide care for wild animals in need so that they can be returned to the wild fit and healthy for a second chance.

When the goal amount is reached, we’ll post a picture of Eleanor’s new look so please donate to O&F and help Eleanor make a difference for the animals.
