Our daughter, Elena, had just started medical school and was excited about the bright future ahead of her when she relapsed with a very rare germ cell cancer.

Although Elena is undergoing aggressive chemotherapy, Harris and Trotter Charitable Trust have helped her receive immunotherapy for her cancer, under the guidance of the amazing prof Seckl and his team.
Immunotherapy has revolutionised cancer treatment and peoples lives. However, it is often not available on the NHS for people with very rare cancers where there is not enough data to make this possible.
