We have decided to take on the Yorkshire 3 Peak challenge, a 25 mile walk to be completed in under 12 hours, with the added dimension of scaling Pen-y-Ghent 694m (2,277ft), Whernside 736m (2,415ft) and Ingleborough 724m (2,375ft).

 

For some in the group this will be first time we have attempted such a challenge.

 

We have choosen the Air Ambulance which is funded entirely by charitable donations (Zero Government funding) because we believe that it is a fantastic service which we hope we will never need to use, but are grateful it is there just in case (We did check that Yorkshire have one as well :-)).
