I am doing a sponsored fire walk because two years ago, the thought of walking the shortest distance with my white cane was as daunting as the prospect of walking through fire. Two years ago I felt isolated, hopeless and restricted. Since qualifying with my first guide dog Jazzy in January 2015 i've been given the freedom, confidence and independence to live my life the way I want to. I no longer feel confined by my visual impairment; I am now about to finish my degree, move into my own place and start a new job. None of which would be possible without Jazzy. I want to give back to the charity whose given me and thousands other visually impaired people a life changer, so please help buy donating whatever you can so this fantastic charity can continue their excellent work of breaking down barriers for blind and partially sighted people like me.
