We support families in rural Africa to learn more, grow more and sell more.
Story
2014 is the year I set myself a goal of completing at least 12 sporting challenges over the year no matter how big or small - the aim was to get focused and have fun.
As a runner I now find myself taking on a very different challenge by walking 50km in around 10 hours as part of the Thames Path Challenge to help raise funds for 'Send A Cow'. Our goal as a team is to raise enough to buy a whole farmyard - this will provide the tools, livestock and training to help communities work together to help them be self sufficient and in turn pass on that knowledge to the next generation. Ultimately providing practical support which may eventually help to eradicate poverty in Africa.
Ripple Effect is creating a wave of change in rural Africa.
Our farmers learn, grow and sell more, releasing the potential in their land and lives. Then they pass the knowledge on, creating
a wave of change across rural Africa.
