In December 2009 my dear friend, Claire, sadly lost her battle against breast cancer.  Claire was a positive, caring and courageous person, who in spite of her own difficulties always seemed to have time to help others.  On a personal note, she helped me enormously whilst I was going through my own treatment for thyroid cancer.

In memory of Claire, and inspired by her positive outlook on life, despite the challenges she faced,  I will be taking  part in a 20 mile Pink Ribbonwalk – a fundraising event for Breast Cancer Care.  This event takes place on Saturday 22^nd May 2010 at Blenheim Palace.
