We provide revolutionary medical equipment to NHS hospitals in Buckinghamshire

Story

Carl & Rachel's "wedding list!"

Our debt of gratitude to NHS Stoke Mandeville is huge. Their consummate care, almost certainly, saved Rachel’s life. We would, therefore, be very grateful if you would be kind enough to make a donation to a charity which will benefit the hospital, rather than buying wedding gifts…

Scannappeal is a Buckinghamshire-based charity which raises money to buy equipment for Stoke Mandeville, Wycombe and Amersham hospitals. The group believes that 1 in 7 Bucks/Herts residents have directly benefitted from their fund-raising efforts! Their current appeal hopes to raise £100,000.00 to equip a “minor operations room” to speed up the treatment of significant A&E injuries where stitches need to be carried out by a plastic surgeon.  It also hopes to facilitate the purchase of skin-cancer detecting equipment. Because Rachel was under the expert supervision of the Senior Plastic Surgeon, Peter Budny, and his Plastics team at Stoke we feel this appeal, in particular, would be an appropriate beneficiary. We hope you agree!
