We are the UK charity that aims to stop cancer by starting new cancer cures worldwide. We will bring forward cancer breakthroughs that reveal new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer. Become a Curestarter today and turn your compassion into action.

Story

I'm participating in Warwick Jailbreak 2014! This is a fund-raising event where teams of 2-4 people hitchhike from the university in 36 hours without spending any money, by asking free lifts from strangers. :D

By physically taking part in this challenging event, I hope to raise awareness of the Worldwide Cancer Research. It is a charity which funds research into any type of cancer anywhere in the world.

They fund projects in the world's best research institutions. They fund some of the world's most diverse and unexpected projects. They fund world-renowned specialists and up and coming talent. They do all those things for one very good reason- to gain a global perspective.

But research won't happen without funding. And without research they make no further progress. Without research we stop investing in our future health.
