Story

Hi all,

Emma is going to step into Emily’s “shoes” (literally). Every day Emily is going to bring in one item of her clothing/a charity find for Emma to ‘rock’ whilst at work. This will last for a whole 7 days and we will document the progress on facebook and emails for us to prove to you our commitment to the cause. Emma will ALSO be provided with a ‘Fashion 101 Quiz’ created by Emily where she will have to research the questions during the week and then be tested on the final day of the ‘Mix up’.

In turn, Emily will be challenged to step into Emma’s ‘spikes’ (literally) and will receive professional coaching on the………………… LONG JUMP. Every day after work Emily will attend Emma’s training sessions at Ealing Athletics Club. She will be trained by the tough Yorkshireman Dave Johnson (he is a Commonwealth triple jumper). Emma will also be filming these (hilarious) sessions and at the end of the week, Emily will be set the task to jump FOUR METRES. Please note, this is a long way for a beginner and Emily does *not* have the long legs that Emma is lucky to have.

This is all in aid of brain tumour awareness month and if you fancy sponsoring us we would be very appreciative as this is something close to our hearts. Our target is to reach £500 and we will be documenting this in aid of the Brain Tumour Charity.

The Brain Tumour Charity is the UK’s largest dedicated brain tumour charity. They fund scientific and clinical research into brain tumours and offer support and information to those affected, whilst raising awareness and influencing policy.

Their website can be found here:

The Mix It Up week will begin on Friday 15 March and will end on Friday 22 March. As we said, we will be documenting the whole week in photos and videos to prove our dedication.

You can follow us on our Facebook Page where we will be uploading the weeks antics here:
